There is no evidence that Carl Schmitt was a supporter of natural law, or was a lover of traditional limits upon government, or that he believed any authority was superior to the ruler or rulers. This page was last edited on 26 September 2020, at 15:32. This page was last edited on 8 July 2020, at 05:26. He may have written about political theology, but that doesn't make him a "political theologian". Hobbes was born in Westport, Wiltshire, England on April 5, 1588(some sources say Malmesbury). Of course, the list should not become overpopulated with everyone of note that happened to be influenced by him, but considering Mr. Dugin's relevance both in Russian internal politics and reaching out to his global audience/readership, I posit that he be included.
